DALLAS FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY JEFFREY ANDERSON NAMED GENERAL COUNSEL OF KIDS MATTER INTERNATIONAL
Kids Matter International, headquartered in Southlake, Texas, has served the needs of abused, displaced and disadvantaged children around the world since 2006.
“My family and I have been longtime supporters of KMI, and we have done a fair amount of volunteer work with them,” says Mr. Anderson. “That exposure has been infectious; you just want to do more. So when I was asked if I would consider becoming general counsel, there was no way I could resist the opportunity to work with some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, while also helping children. I will, of course, continue as a partner at Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson, but I’m excited about serving our community with KMI.”
KMI Chairman Coye Conner Jr. welcomed Mr. Anderson’s decision to join KMI.
“We are very pleased that Jeff has accepted the invitation to join us as our general counsel,” Mr. Conner says. “He is an outstanding attorney who has always put the welfare of children first in his Family Law practice. We knew we needed that mindset in our general counsel.”
KMI operates or partners with charities and communities in the United States, India, Honduras, and the United Kingdom through direct donations and fundraising events, highlighted by the annual Fruit of the Vine Gala. This year’s Monte Carlo-themed Gala will be held on Friday, Feb. 21, at The Hilton Southlake Hotel. The Gala will feature a seated French gourmet dinner, premium cocktail bars, casino, silent and live auctions and live entertainment.
